Thank you Town. Whilst four lucky deflections wasn't the result we wanted it may well prove to be the result we needed. With so much hope and not too little hype, we could be forgiven for turning up every week expecting to be crowned division two champions without the need to trip down wembley way.

Unfortunately, and despite the best of our intentions and those of the board life rarely turns out how you want it.

As other teams have proven, Division two is a long war of attrition and lessons learnt early on in our campaign can only help us navigate our way through.

So for one,Town are welcome to savour their victory, whilst we can look forward to the war.
