All I can add is that the lad is an international player having been with South Africa for their last friendly. Surely that is the sort of pedigree that surpassess your average League 2 centre midfielder?

And with regards to Hereford, look at them now without the same number of loanees? Getting stuffed in League 1. The absence of all their loanees is proving too much for them to cope with this time round.

I think Furman is a great signing - and on a 5 month loan can play a valuable part in strengtheing options in central midfield as Nix is quite clearly better out wide, you can see the loan being extended as well if he does ok and Gers do not hit major injury problems.

I think this is a question of degree. We now have available two loanees, neither of whom are currently first choice for the starting line-up. Even if they were, the majority of players would still be overwhelmingly contract-based. In the circumstances, Stuart McCall is using his contacts well, supporting his squad, and giving the club and fans the best possible chance of success.

I did forget TJ but having been with us before I'm using that as an excuse for forgetting him. He is part of the furniture now he says excusing himself.

As for Hereford having seen them last season I can say that they could have had the eleven Grimsby kids that Barry Conlon put five past and they still would have won with that linesman allowing them to stand as offside as they desired.

No, he is not City's sole loanee - have you forgotten TJ Moncur?

If you look at Hereford's team last season with a full complement of loan players they were not a "bad team", quite the opposite in fact.
