I agree that abuse of Daley is idiotic - he was our only threat at times last season.

As long as Thorne plays as he has been, if Boulding continues as he did on Saturday, and if Topp can build on the flashes I have seen then Omar can contribute to a team effort without the burden he carries sometimes. Despite Colbeck's improvement Omar still carries the greater threat.

What concerns me is the overall performance. Rochdale only worried me at times, for all their possession. However they could say the same about us. We give the ball away too easily and too often. Despite new midfield we insist on hitting it long to Thorne, Boulding(!), Omar, when we should be playing it to their feet and working through midfield, keeping the ball.

Or am I blind to Stuart's masterplan to get into League One?

As always it's the vocal minority who persist with heaping abuse on certain players - Arnison is also now attracting their interest after a testing start to his City career - but he hopefully is expereinced enough to not let it affect his game - 2nd half on Saturday he did much better.

Conlon is a League 2 striker end of, and that's where we are. He is more than useful to have on the bench although Rory Boulding is looking to be a very promissing addition and the right age as well.

I have also heard that there is an element in the Bantams Bar who seem only too willing to criticise Daley and worse still add something that is a throwback to the 70's - these people need kicking out of the club.
