This is a decent summary of the game. The 20 minutes following Stanley's second goal were really bad and they reminded me of the second half at Huddersfield. Nobody was putting their foot on the ball or taking responsibility, there were too many aimless passes (Moncur in particular) and we missed Daley's ability to receive the ball under pressure and get defenders turned. Credit to O'Brien and Furman for being probably the best of a bad bunch yesterday.

Fair play to Stuart for getting the substitution spot on. Barry didn't do anything we haven't seen him do before, but if City are going to resort to high balls (which, regardless of what the manager might have said in the paper, we did 80% of the time) then he simply has to be on the pitch. Horses for courses. Barry was out of his depth at Shrewsbury against a tight defence in a game which was played on the deck, but in games like yesterday's he is very valuable and I reckon worth keeping for the season unless there is someone similar but better available in January.
