I think perhaps you are right about it adding to the bile but maybe that is a good way of assessing the value of comments launched at City next season. If they include an element of fashion comment then they might be from someone who would moan about anything.

In the end it is just a shirt. It is what happens while wearing it that matters.

It's not white, but that is all in its favour. City fans have had to suffer Leeds colours and kits that were just the nearest to claret and amber the shirt manufacturer could be bothered with. This shirt is neither tradition nor good looking, I guess it is a good deal from the manufacturers, and City cannot be bothered to admit it, or it's Mark Lawn's personal choice. Hardly good enough reasons for an annoying change after City have had such a dire season.

As you say: if City do well this season the shirt will hardly matter, but it will add to the bile if City do badly.

Good to see bfb back in business!

Sad news on the 'Deano' Furman front - we now need some positive news on the midfield area, as it stands it looks mighty weak. Not overkeen on the new kit but will need to see it 'in the flesh' and not sure if Joe Colbeck signing on a week to week basis is as positive as Stuart is trying to make out.

So despite the hot weather not the best of days so far this summer!
