The Things That Are Going On With BfB

  • 21 June 2008 We are making a Facebook page - yeah I know - but the kids love it.

The older content of BfB is getting pitched onto this site on an ad hoc basis starting with some Michael Wood articles from 2005/2006

    Good (morning/afternoon/evening) BfB reader,
BfB is going through big changes moving away from the Blogger system that has powered the site in the last year to a Wordpress platform which might mean nothing to you (and why should it?) but to use means that we can make you a better, faster, more featured site.
Somethings might come and go as we update the site on the job and we hope you like the new features. I hope to add lots of the old content to the site but at the moment we are working from the last year and a bit which I’ve been very happy with.
New features you might be interested in are the news bar on the right hand side, the increased support for handheld devices, non-news pages (like this one) which are going to be growing as the site grows back to it’s pre-2007 days and (deep breath) a responses system which (should it go well) would allow readers to add comments on BfB articles. This is very up in the air at the moment (cause I’m not a huge fan of them) but may be turned on soon. Any thoughts on that let me know at the usual email address.
    Thanks for reading.

    Great site Michael.

I was gutted when it went down for a while but so glad to see it back. Although I am in exile I can always log on and feel I am still part of it all.

    Thanks.
